About us and our point of difference

As Adams Steelguard and for the last 10 plus years, just Steelguard, we’ve been steel window and door experts since 1990. Our highly experienced team provides an end-to-end service, including project management, design, manufacture and installation.

Why choose steel windows?

Strength, slender lines and durability are the characteristics of steel windows and doors. The strength of steel allows maximum glass sizes without the need for the bulky frames that are associated with alternative materials.

In both fire & security situations steel is the proven and tested answer. 30, 60 and more minutes for integrity or integrity and insulation can be provided.

Environmental policy

The longer a window or door stays in use, the lower the environmental impact of the resources that went into creating it. Through our 'Built to Last' and 'Built to Repair' philosophies, as well as our Revive programme (our way of keeping used-but-usable windows in circulation), we hope to reduce demand for new low-cost windows and doors with shorter lifecycles and in turn, reduce unnecessary waste. Steelguard actively recycles materials from the design & manufacture process. We have one of the largest collections of reclaimed steel windows and doors in the country, with literally 100’s of recyclable units available. We also recycle office waste wherever possible.

Providing quality solutions

We are the Australasian agents for Vetrotech and Jansen. A fundamental component of a successful project involving steel joinery is the design consultation process and project management, both fundamental aspects of Steelguard’s business. We welcome any enquiries for any aspect of steel joinery and believe we can offer unique solutions tailored to your needs.
